TOKEN OF LOVE
At one time Nasreddin Hodja had two wives, who frequently competed for the Hodja's attention.
One day the Hodja hit upon an ingenious idea: He gave each of his wives a blue bead as a keepsake, and told each of them not to let anyone see it.
From that day on he had no difficulty in managing them. When, as so often happened, they came to him together and asked him, "Which of us do you love best?", he had no difficulty in satisfying them both with his reply:
"The one who has my blue bead is my favorite."
