WHAT HAS IT GOT TO DO WITH YOU?


One day the Hodja was approached by a man who was notorious in the village as a gossip, and the Hodja disliked him for it.

"Hodja Effendi," he said, as if imparting a tremendous secret, "I just saw the baker's son carrying a huge baked turkey on a very large tray!"

"What's that got to do with me?" said the Hodja.

"But Hodja Effendi, I think I noticed it was being taken to your house!"

"Then, what has it got to do with you?" was the curt reply.
